to Dr. Marie Imbrova for her lecture
"Zimbabwe at the Times of Hyperinflation and Today"
that she had at the high school on November 16, 2012

On Friday, November 16, 2012, the students of the 6th year and of the 2nd year had a unique opportunity to insight into the daily life of the population of Zimbabwe. Dr. Marie Imbrova, an African studies expert, a former diplomat and currently an independent consultant in the areas of politics, education and culture, visited the Anglo-Czech High School. We learned how, five years ago, a daily struggle to obtain a basic food looked like for Zimbabweans, what it means a life without drinking water and electricity, what hardships Kenyan women are facing. We admired prefect jewels and bowls of the indigenous tribes and the life in the world's largest sculpture workshop in Zimbabwean Tengenenge, to which community Mrs. Imbrova is helping. We supported the construction of the school canteen for a smart boy, named Tamasha and his classmates. Dr. Imbrova, thank you very much for the exhaustive explanation and the great experience.
