This year's auction of dolls will save 3,338 children's lives!

One of the most important charity events of the Czech UNICEF, the charity auction of dolls of the leading artists, designers and celebrities took place on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the premises of the Czech Museum of Music in Prague.

The patroness the auction even this year became a clothing designer Libena Rochova, the role of moderator and auctioneer of the auctions was hosted by Karel Vorisek, the festive evening was made more pleasant for a performance by the singers Martha Elefteriadu and Vera Martinova, the swing singer Jan Smigmátor and the Children's Ballet of Prague...

That means three times more children, to which we will be able, thanks to the vaccination against deadly diseases, to save lives and ensure that they can grow up in health and safety. Article Title: UNIQUE DOLLS IN SUPPORT OF UNICEF WILL BE AUCTIONED AGAIN IN THE CZECH MUSEUM OF MUSIC

The 14th charity auction of dolls of leading fashion designers and celebrities will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 07:00 p.m. in the Czech Museum of Music. The proceeds from the auction will support the UNICEF's immunization programs.

Already the fourteenth year, a rare auction organized by the Czech UNICEF will take place in the mid-November during which dolls of leading Czech designers, fashion designers, photographers and other celebrities will be auctioned.





... In this year's auction, there are presented totally 23 dolls. The starting price of each one is CZK 3 000,--, which is the price of a vaccination against six deadly diseases for 5 children.

Marie Imbrova (African Studies Expert and African Art Collector): "My doll looks surely the most modestly from all. It comes from Malawi and a similar doll gets every teenage girl from her mother or close relative to accompany her during the life and to bring her happiness. The dolls like this is, in essence, you can not buy - I got it as a gift directly from a girl in the town near the Lake Malawi, when I decided to help her with her school fees. To the doll, which is called Memory, I added a unique handcrafted jewel made by a Czech goldsmith and a Zimbabwean sculptor. "...
