Exhibition "BAGS AND JEWELS FROM VEGETABLE MATERIALS", The Botanical Garden, Nadvorni 134, Praha 7 - Troja, June 22, 2012 - July 08, 2012

Dr. Marie Imbrova borrowed to the exhibition "BAGS AND JEWELS FROM VEGETABLE MATERIALS" in the Botanical Garden in Praha - Troja over twenty different exhibits, especially baskets and jewels which come mainly from the Victoria Falls Region and Botswana. These are authentic products of the ethnic groups, which Dr. Emil Holub described more than 140 years ago. All the borrowed exhibits to this exhibition are for sale.

During June 2012, Dr. Marie Imbrova will devote, among other things, to the selection of photos from her last stay in Tengenenge in March of this year (more details on this stay you can find at
www.tengenenge.cz) for her next series of lectures and cooperation with the new partners, especially the Elementary School in Trest, which also decided to support the children in Tengenenge (more information about this initiative you can find at www.pomoc-zimbabwe.webnode.cz).

The painting "
Cows" by T. Mugawi as a Dr. Marie Imbrova's gift into a charity auction for the benefit of the collection "THERE IS IS NEVER ENOUGH OF THE GOOD" of The Committee of Good Will - The Olga Havel Foundation, Senovazne namesti 2, Praha 1




In early June of this year, the Director of The Committee of Good Will - The Olga Havel Foundation, Mrs. Milena Cerna, MD., took over a painting by the Zimbabwean painter T. Mugawi "Cows" from the collection of Dr. Marie Imbrova as her gift to support the work of The Committee of Good Will.

"THERE IS IS NEVER ENOUGH OF THE GOOD" of The Committee of Good Will - The Olga Havel Foundation at this year's Christmas charity auction.

Dr. Marie Imbrova's Visit in Austria, May 19 - 23, 2012

From May 19 to May 23, 2012 Dr. Marie Imbrova will stay in Vienna.

She will start her programme together with the Members of the American Club of the Ladies, when she will attend with them a meeting with Czech compatriots living in Vienna, in the Sokol Gymnastic Union X-Vienna - (Turnverein Sokol-Wien-X), Angeligasse 21, 1100 Wien, and the remembrance ceremony at the Dr. Emil Holub's grave at the Vienna's Central Cemetery (Der Wiener Zentralfriedhof), Simmeringer Hauptstrasse 234, 1110 Wien.

Dr. Marie Imbrova's Visit in Zimbabwe, February 28 - March 29, 2012


From February 28 till March 29, 2012, Marie Imbrova will reside in Zimbabwe. First of all, she will visit with her friends the Victoria Falls and Bulawayo, and in the second half of her stay she will devote to the charity work in Tengenenge. More details at www.tengenenge.cz. After returning to the Czech Republic, she will continue in April in her exhibition and lecture activities.

On January 21, 2012, Dr. Marie Imbrova will attend the official opening of an exhibiton in Cafebar No. 7 in Brusperk, where she loaned paintings from her private collection. The creation of Zimbabwean artists (David Chinyama, Voti Thebe, Valentine Magutsa) and their position in the society are also the central theme of her lecture.

Three Kings' Meeting for Tengenenge Children, Church of St. Micheal in Jirchare, Prague 1 - Nove Mesto, January 6, 2012







TENGENENGE FRIENDS CLUB IS WISHING TO ITS SUPPORTERS
A HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL YEAR 2012


At the same time, we would like to invite you to the Three Kings' Meeting, which will take place on January 6, 2012 from 7 p.m. at the Church of St. Michael in Jirchare, Prague 1 - Nove Mesto.

The meeting is devoted to the support of school attendance of the Tengenenge children and there will be present the Club members, who will realize another trip to Zimbabwe in February and the students who have returned recently from Zimbabwe. Due to the space in their luggage, they can take in addition to small children toys only the following gifts: crayons, children's scissors, pencil sharpeners, pencils, pens, solar calculators, drawing equipment, washable plates. There will also be welcomed quality balls, children's books in English and senior functional mobile phones, unblocked to the network of an operator.

Eventual financial donations will be used for the salary of an auxiliary teacher in the Tengenenge kindergarten.
