Dr. Marie Imbrova supports a long time by her articles the Czech Dialogue Magazine and monitors the activities of the International Czech Club. So, she likes to take part in the last meeting of this year.

The 2nd Benefit Evening for Tengenenge and Education in Africa, Hotel Holiday Inn, Na Pankraci 15/1684, Praha 4, November 08, 2012




During the 2nd Benefit Evening for Tengenenge and Education in Africa, which will be held on November 8, 2012 from 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Prague (you can find the entire invitation with the programme of the evening at
www.tengenenge.cz), Dr. Marie Imbrova will officially present a unique collection of seven jewels, statuettes of the DESTINY by famous sculptor Taurai Rukodzi from Tengenenge (Zimbabwe), which a goldsmith Ms. Jana Gruntova from Cerncice near Louny integrated in silver according to her own author's designs.



Each jewel will be dispatched into the life not only with the accompanying studio photo by Mr. Jiri Bouda from Louny, but also with a small certificate of origin, creators and weight of silver in each jewel and guarantee of statuette origin by Dr. Marie Imbrova.




Each jewel has as a standard an authorial mark by Ms. Jana Gruntova and a hallmarked purity by the Czech Assay Office in Prague.

October 2012

Dr. Marie Imbrova's visit in Kenya, October 2012

The last week in October, Dr. Marie Imbrova spent with Mrs. Hana Krpesova in Nairobi. The stay was very professional. It included a visit to the Songa Mbele na Masomo Centre in Mukuru slum to where they imported gifts of Czech donors, a visit to the National Museum and visits to the galleries focusing on design.

During this week, Dr. Marie Imbrova also chose or let made a collection of sets for the Afro-Bailar Multicultural Festival, to be held in Prague at the beginning November 2012.

Next, one pleasant afternoon, she spent with the greatest present expert on authentic African jewellery Mrs. Rhodia Mann.

Regional Elections,

Conclusion:
The Political Movement PRO! KRAJ (FOR! REGION) gained in the Usti Region, with a total voter participation of 33.94 %, a total of 17,372 votes, representing 8.15 % of all valid votes and a total of 6 seats in the new 55-member Assembly of the Usti Region. The Political Movement PRO! KRAJ so became one of the five political subjects, besides Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM), Czech Social Democratic Party (CSSD), North Bohemians (Severocesi.cz) and Civic Democratic Party (ODS) that will participate for another election term in the administration of the Usti Region.

Dr. Marie Imbrova, who was on the 53th place of the PRO! KRAJ candidate list, ended due to the 188 preferential electoral votes in total on the 34th place. The complete election results in the Usti Region can be found here (in Czech language only).

"SMALL AFRICAN CONFERENCE" that is, under the auspices of the Mayor of the Statutory Town of Jihlava Mr. Jaroslav Vymazal and the South African Ambassador H.E. Ms. Celia Sandra Botha, organized by the Zoo in Jihlava on September 07 - 09, 2012.

"ZIMBABWEAN PAINTER LOVEMORE KAMBUDZI ON EXHIBITION IN JOHANNESBURG AND IN ROUDNICE NAD LABEM"

From this year, Dr. Marie Imbrova cooperates on the presentation of the work of Zimbabwean painter Lovemore Kambudzi even with the renowned gallery owner from the United Kingdom, Mr. Edward Cross. This man, in his gallery Ed Cross Fine Art Ltd., offers also three paintings by Lovemore Kambudzi that Dr. Marie Imbrova presented in 2010 in Dakar.

Dr. Marie Imbrova's Lecture "AFRICAN JEWEL", Wine Bar Hrom, Soukenicka 63, Slany, September 07, 2012

On September 07, 2012 from 7 p.m., Dr. Marie Imbrova lectures about the African jewel in the frame of the Cultural Evening, focusing on African art and music, in the Wine Bar Hrom in Slany. During the evening also the West African drummers from Guinea and Senegal will appear. The entrance fee is 100 CZK and includes one drink. All those interested in African art and music are cordially welcome.

EXHIBITON CONTEMPORARY AFRICAN ART
IS PROLONGED UNTIL OCTOBER 07, 2012

The Roudnice Castle, which opens to the public after the decades, begins the summer season on July 03, 2012 with a moderate exhibition from the collections of Dr. Marie Imbrova. The exhibition is realized by The Podripske Museum in Roudnice nad Labem, which also coordinates other accompanying events.
